Ok pops has a 94 150 with a 302 with aod. the button on the end of the shifter that you push to turn it off is always blinking. well the little off light is blinking actually. anybody know what it means ? thanks !

 

As far as I know it's the same at the later trucks. It is a tranny problem indicator, but I'm not exactly sure if it will indicate specific problems through reading the codes.

Try the tranny forum..... Factory Tech or one of the other guru's should be able to steer you in the right direction. There are probably already some answers if you do a search in that section.

 

Could be the computer has shut off Overdrive or the torque converter clutch (most likely) becuase of problems its encountered. Yup, the trans forum will help, hopefully.
