Would Like to do Tune up for '96 F150

I was thinking of doing a tune up for my 96 F150.

Does anyone have any suggestions for which plugs and wires to buy? Or a good place to get them online?

I've only done one tune up before (on a car).... after changing the plugs, wires, fluids, and filters....what do else do I have to do.

I won't be able to check the time or anything, do I need to...and if so, how much would an average shop charge to do that?

thanks for the help,

DJ

thats pretty much about what I do on a tune-up. I have a 90 f150 with 100,000+. Why cant you check the timing? I have a good Sears "Penske" inductive timing light, makes checking the timing sweet, no more pulling the plug wire and installing the spring with the clip. As far as the parts you mentioned, a good reliable auto parts store will carry all the items you need
