shock suggestions

After my recent vacation to Alabama and driving on the backroads, one of my monroe reflex shocks is gone... I know they are cheap, but... Anyway, does anyone one have any suggestions for new shocks and where to order them from??

Thanks
Marc

I have Rancho RS5000's they ride a little too stiff on the road but they work great offroad.

I also have the rancho rs5000 and loved em. Had a pair for about 10 years now. The only time I blew one out was drinkin and runnin the woods down here at 2am (where you blew you're monroe shock out). Had to get the truck 3 or four feet off the ground to do it, so they're tough shocks too. Usually anything that makes it a while on my truck is good stuff!!

Been giving some thought to the rancho's and maybe the rsx or maybe go the bilstein route, dunno. I kinda like what I have heard about the rs5000.

I only know the Rancho RS9000x. No brainer as far as I am concerned. 9 settings from rides like a boat to corners like a sports car.

Rancho was running a 4 for 3 sale through May. There was a thread here back in April that showed where to buy them.

greencrew,
I went with the 5000's for now. Gonna get a new truck in a year or 2 and it will definitely get the 9000's.

ccnseven,
Where you located? My parents live around Russellville.

Glad to hear it. Looking forward to your comments on the ride.
I believe the 5000s are the same as the 9000 only set to the best setting for that vehicle.

For me the only draback on that would be due to the fact that the rears are set a bit stiffer then the front, and I seldom carry any real load back there. I have my rears set lighter than the front.

Now when I take the trailer out for a load of sand I'll crank the rears up 4 or 5 knotches.
