Where can I get a gas tank?

My rear tank on my 95 F-150 is rotted. Any ideas where to get a replacement other than the dealer?

Gas tank

I replaced my 18.5 gallon gas tank with a 45 gallon tank. Web site: www.transferflow.com

It was a direct remove and replacement. I lost the spare tire but I just mounted it in the truck bed.

Good Luck

I got my new rear tank from NAPA. $150-ish. I also put on a new fuel pump ring/gasket to ensure no leaks.

I since have removed the spare tire and related hanger crap so I can hose it down good once in awhile. That chit was all corroded anyway and if I ever needed to get it down it would have been impossible. So out came the hack saw! It looks ten times better without all that junk under there, especially if you have rear exit dual exhaust.

I have one that I took out of my 93 Lightning that I'd be willing to sell. The only reason I took it out, was due to an extreme Racing-Type fuel system I installed in my race truck.

I'd let it go for 25 bucks + shipping.

If your interested, e-mail me directly @ kblkbrn@setel.com , cause I rarely check this forum.

Thanks,.........
