Buying a Bronco

I'm looking into buying a bronco fairly soon. Probably early 90s or a bit older. I'm looking for a 5.0 w/manual trans combo. Is there anything I should be wary of when looking at these trucks. I own a '98 F150, but I'm not too familiar with the older models. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Jim look for the usual stuff when looking at any car. Check the clutch, tire wear, u-joints all the way around, parking brake, PS leak, rear main leak, coolant leaks, make sure the check engine light comes on when the key is turned then goes out once the engine is going, 4wd works without funky noises.

A 90s truck in New England might have rust starting above the wheels, might not. A 5.0L manual Bronco might be difficult to locate. My father has a 94 Bronco w/auto and a little Myers snow plow. He's babied the s4it out of that, now he wants a GMC. I don't understand old people

Thanks

Thanks for the reply Chris. So nothing unusual. I've always liked the Broncos, and I've heard good things about them. I know that a 5.0 w/ manual may be hard to find, but I have my other truck, so I'm willing to take my time.
