Front Speakers for 96 p/u

I want to replace the front speakers on my '96 f150 xlt. How do I access the speakers to uninstall the old ones and install new ones? Do I have to unmount the door panel?

I see that the back speakers can easily be accessed by unscrewing the plastic mesh guard. Why didn't they make the front ones just as easily accessed?

thanks,
dj

You just have to take off the door panel, takes like 5 minutes.

Once the door panel is off it's a no brainer how the speakers come out.

It's not necessary but you may want to buy a cheap panel popper from the parts store. Those plastic things are sometimes a pain the a$$ but the job is an easy one
