i have a 93 f150 and the brake on the right side makes a high pitched wistling when i'm going forward but not backward i took the wheel off to see if i could figure it out but the rotor wasn't damaged. does anyone know what i can do to fix it

 

Sounds like something with the pad mounting hardware causing the pads to move and vibrate when going forward. I would take the caliper off and take the pads out and lube up all the hardware with anti-seize or silicone grease. Also put some of that stuff on the back of the pads then put it all back together and see if the noise is gone.

Did you spin the axle? Sometimes a bearing can start off making a whistling type noise. Hope its just a brake part like fordforever suggested
