Can anyone tell me a good place to get my oil tested? Are there online sites that will send you the kit or whatever's needed to send the oil for testing? I would like to test my oil this next change and see what the results are. Just an experiment on my part as I have never had any oil tests before. I use mobil 1 oil w/purolator filters and go 5-6k miles. I figure my truck is older and I want to see what slightly extended changes will do to my oil.

Does anyone here have a bypass and extended change interval? How do you like the setup? I'm not lazy but put mileage on pretty quick and it gets old really fast climbing under the truck for changes. I drive pretty easy, not much load, and minor city so I'm sure I'm not 'using' up the oil in 3-5k miles.

Before you beat me for not doing a search I did try but the search engine will not search on 3 letter words, like 'oil', so I didn't have much luck. Entering 'test' or 'testing' got too many hits.
