Rear ABS Light

1992 F-150 5.8 Litre Rear ABS light comes on after about 30 to 45 seconds after start up. It does not go out. Any ideas what the problem might be?

About 90 percent of the time it is the sensor on the rear end. It is only like 12 dollars from ford.
Good Luck

Arvin J, does you speedometer& cruise control work? My abs light came on and at the same time my speedo and cruise quit workin, bout 5 years and 100k miles later I was under it at a muffler shop and the wires to the vss (vehicle speed sensor) on the rear axle tube driver side were cut. I twisted em back together and the abs light went off and the other stuff tied to it works now. Not to mention my truck odometer shows 100k miles less than what it's been driven
