Has anyone thought about polishing this?
The tailgate piece? Is it aluminum or stainless? Looks like stainless. I wonder how long it would take to polish.

it's aluminum.....I use maguires polished alumium polish on it then a layer of regular wax.

Did you get a mirror finsh or very shiny finish? I've got a mirror finish bumper and tail pipes, you can't tell in the picture due to the winter snot all over it, I think that panel would be cool very shiny.

it got a little shiney but nothing major....it's just like trying to poilish a soda can.
