Tie Rods?
Tie Rods?
ok, so I took my truck in for the suspension to be checked over. They said it looked fine and there are no leaks from any shock.
They did say my tie rod end is loose. Could this be causing the crappy ride on my truck? I know it is causing the slight shaking.
I'm going to replace the shocks at the same time...I figure, even though it may not need it now, it could need it in a month or two and I'd have to pay for the third alignment since September...might as well kill two birds with the one stone!
Thanks for the help again.

Yes a loose tie-rod end can cause shaking in the steering wheel, you'll want to get that changed soon. As far as the shocks go if you were to replace them later you wouldn't need an alignment, you only need to realign the truck if you replace a steering component.
