sway bars
I put a set of 1" dia Addco bars on my 96. I put Bilstein shocks on at the same time so I can'y tell you about the bars alone, but the combination was a huge improvement over stock. Definitely do it.
There is a fly in the ointment though. The Addco front bar needs a set of the factory front spring perches and end links off of a truck which came factory equipped with a front bar. You'll need to junkyard source them and rebush the links with urethane. No big deal but you need to know ahead of time. I got both the bars and the Bilsteins from www.shox.com

It's a simple DIY job. by FAR the hardest part was pulling the spring perches and lend links out of the junker at the pick-and-pull. The rear bar went on in something like 20 minutes. The front bar took quite a bit longer since I had to swap the spring perches ans changed the front shocks at the same time, something on the order of 2 hours to do the perches and shocks and another 20-30 minutes to hang the new bar and links. That doesn't count time to sandblast and paint the perches and links and re-bush the links with urethane.
