Anti-gun state senator arrested - for carrying a gun

A Chicago democrat state senator was arrested for trying to carry a gun on to an aircraft. I guess the anti-gun is only for the "people".

Has sponsored 31 bills on gun control.

Nothing new about this. Remember when Ted Kennedy's personal body guards were caught carrying machine guns in an airport? Or when the very anti-gun news paper columnist (can't think of his name) in Washington DC shot some kid with an un-registered gun because the kid was swimming in his pool?

Clearly most of the anti-gunners think that those laws should only apply to others and not to themselves!

That was Carl Rowan, back in 1988.

In 1981, he wrote a column asking for legislation that anyone caught with an unlicensed gun be given mandatory jail time. In 1985, he wrote that manufacture, importation, sale and posession of all hand guns should be banned. He lived in DC, which had banned handguns since 1976.

He was tried for shooting the kid, but the jury was deadlocked.

Just another day in Chicago.

He will get elected, and you will never hear about this again.

It will get plead down to some misdemeanor and time served.
- recall in Chicago we had to stop inditing judges, as there were going to be none left to try them.

With the "change of heart" in Chicago with firearms, they reversed that you could own previous banned guns, but you had to get 9 and pay ) a license for each one. His ? No license...

Keep in mind this is the state that has a higher conviction rate on Governors than murders ( 50% conviction rate on gov : 42% conviction rate on Murders ).
- Good news, don't have to pay their pension, bad news have to pay to feed, house and clothe them anyway.
