Some would say that he was a prophet. I think that it's more likely is that what's happening today is just the continuation of what started around the time he was concerned.

Some people have been oblivious to what's been happening to our society. Some people have noticed but ignored it. A relative handfull of people have been speaking up about what they've seen transpire in our country, and they have been vilified as wackos, racist, sexist, homophobic bigots.

I only wish I saw a way to make things better. Unfortunately, I'm in a minority with that opinion.
