In other words, if it wasn't on HuffPoo, NYT, MSNBC or other MSM it must not be true. Only those outlets are valid news sources.

Not so much attack the messenger but change the topic if you don't like where it is going ( i.e. makes a Democrat look bad for doing things they complain / blame on the GOP ).
The MSM does it on a regular basis, he is just following the playbook.

He takes change the topic play #203; toss a name into a conversation about what the Democratic controlled Senate is doing out of the blue, and when someone bites on it, he furthers the push off topic to an opinion he has about the off topic name he tossed out there.

Think this is a good example of what was posted above :

Reminds me of a country that lost their freedom in the last century. Or more correctly, they let the gov't take it away and believed it was for the"better". That country was Germany in the 30's.
