October / November Surprise?

Now that the debates are over, about the only thing left is the unveiling of the traditional 'surprise'.

Requirements are:

1) Must slam Romney and/or elevate Obama
2) Must be released close enough to the election that Romney can't mount an effective response.

Any guesses what it will be this year?

I'm waiting in amusement for the 'surprise'! They are sure to cook up something good this time.

I read somewhere (a link off of Drudge Report) that Gloria Allred (the lawyer lady) is supposed to bring out a couple women whom Romney used to councel when he was a preacher and tell us that he advised them not to get abortions. I am sure it will be more dramatic but thats the jist of what it is if I recall correctly. Also read it was basically old news that had already been talked about when he ran for governor.

Also read Romney TURNED DOWN running with a story about Obama possibly selling cocaine in college. He didnt want to go that route. Why would he when he has the momentum and is widening his lead?

I agree the Romney slam is likely to include some sort of abortion/woman angle.

How about this: Perhaps MSNBC will produce a 'National Enquirer' level interview, with some mysterious woman claiming to be Mitt's spurned lover, insisting that he was a hypocrite on 'life' and paid for her to get an abortion. Of course, after the interview, the woman will have to disappear forever to protect her 'safety'.

Or maybe someone will emerge and claim that they are Mitt's love child.

Just tossing around idea's here. Whatever they have in store, it's going to be juicy.

I fully expect the big surprise won't be turned over to the media until November 2nd to November 4th, but maybe the zealots can trot out a few smaller surprises before then, just to whet our appetite.

Isn't Trump promising an Obama bomb on Wednesday?

Honestly, I think both sides that are trying to influence the election with these so called bombs need to just keep their trap shut. If it was that damn important, it should have been said months/yrs ago. Waiting to within days before the election is just bs.

Yeah Trump says he has something too, but unless it is substantial I doubt anyone will take it seriously after he kept pushing the birther crap for too long a little while ago.

Yeah, even if whatever he has is well documented, it could well backfire on him and possibly hurt Romney, too. Got to be careful playing with fire.

I'll guess he has documents that show Obama attended college as a foreign student, from Indonesia.

Another theory is that Obama's genetic father is his mentor and avowed Communist, Frank Marshall Davis, but I doubt that Trump would go there.

Even if those things turn out to be true, it probably would not hurt Obama among his supporters.

I've heard it said that this election is all about character. If that were true, we'd certainly have a different president in 2013. It's not though, so I expect more of the Chicago style tactics to come from the incumbents campaign. I'd like to think that people in this country have smartened up a bit since '08, but I've been reading tweets from people who say they will riot and assassinate Romney if Obama isn't reelected. We're still in a pretty sad state.

Trump always has something to say, doesn't he? What a jerk.
I doubt that there are any skeletons in Mitt's personal closet though. Obama's maybe. The last minute shots only have to be innuendo to cast some doubt...

For me, it's about www.usdebtclock.org

I see how much debt the government has accumulated, and how many unfunded entitlements they have created. The reality is my children (ages 9 and 11) will be enslaved to that debt their entire lives, and that our country may collapse because our government spent far too much money. It makes me sick.

For others, it's about Obama phones.

Apparently Gloria Allred is gonna be at some Boston courthouse in the morning to try and get some Romney sworn testimony unsealed from an old court case.

Apparently Trump has divorce papers from the Obamas from a few years ago.

I hope people don't fall for the stupid b.s. last minute tactics and vote with their brains

Gloria Alred is known to stoop low, so her feeble efforts should not surprise anyone. Unsealing sealed documents? She's from LA, but that sounds like Axelrod/Chicago style politics.

Trump's need for attention is bottomless. If his 'bombshell' is about divorce papers that were never finalized, the Donald will be hurting Romney, IMO. Guess that does not matter to Trump, as long as the spotlight is on him for a few precious minutes.

Just realized the Allred/Trump rumors are each 1/2 of a previous 'October Surprise' in a US Senate Race.

Jack Ryan's divorce papers were unsealed, and the publicity firestorm allowed Obama to get elected to the US Senate.

Not only did it work in the general election, it also worked in the primary when Blair Hull's divorce records were unsealed, allowing Obama to come from behind.

Both sets of records were unsealed at the request of the Chicago Tribune, the former employer of Obama concigliere, David Axelrod.

No wonder they keep doing this crap. It works.
