intentional financial destruction of america
i have felt since this ahole got elected he is intentionally destroying our country financially. all the green spending, stimulus, increased foreign aid, gm bailout, food stamp increase etc. this cant be by accident. no one is this stupid.
anyone else agree?
i cant imagine anyone worse to be president. a position of so little power but so much influence.

An op-ed I read shortly after The Dems took over in 2008 supposed the plan was to spend so much and put us so far in debt that the republicans couldn't cut taxes. I think they have done a good job at that.

Doesn't take a brain "sturgeon" to see it didn't happen overnight, or in 4 years. Obama ain't the right guy, but I don't believe either of the two political parties can provide the guy in the climate that has become big government and big politics. The office is just the barrel that provides the pork to a lifetime of government $$$$.

Doesn't take a brain "sturgeon" to see it didn't happen overnight, or in 4 years. Obama ain't the right guy, but I don't believe either of the two political parties can provide the guy in the climate that has become big government and big politics. The office is just the barrel that provides the pork to a lifetime of government $$$$.
Changing presidents this November isn't going to fix everything. It might not fix a thing. It might, at a minimum, slow the distruction and corruption. It could even change the trajectory. If we stay with the same guy for the next four years, based on his own words, we can expect our government to "level" the playing field. We can expect that our government will take our country down another notch or two, to "level" the playing field globaly.
I'm not a big fan of Romney. Obama has an agenda though. He's been talking about his agenda for years. You can listen and see for yourselves. His agenda is antithetical to what the founders created. I don't believe that the same thing can be said about Romney, and unfortunately in this election, that's enough.
I know that a large portion of people in this country favor our government playing out like a reality TV show. It's sad really. I'm not interested in debating wether or not we should hate Romney because he's been successful. Barack Obama is a hazard to our country and to our society. He is dismanteling the basic principals that underpin our government and is violently driving a wedge in an already fragile society.
We need people to come together to solve problems, right in the neighborhoods where we live. We need to rely on government less, for everything from food stamps to corporate subsidies. We need to stop looking at our politicians as if they are celebrities or saviors. They are our servants, who we've choosen to represent us in our governing. We should be paying enough attention to at least know that the government doesn't have any money, other than what they've taken from us. We should expect that they do a better job managing our money.
I learned a lot from discussions here during the last administration. I learned that I cut them too much slack. What I've learned since, is that people now are cutting the current administration too much slack. I've also learned that the only real difference between the last administration and the current one is, the rhetoric. It's actually pretty amazing how many of the people who were so vehemently, often violently critical of the last administration, will go to endless lengths to defend the same exact policies under the current administration.
Step back people. It may well take much more than four years to repair the damage of eight of the current administration. I'm going to vote to give the other guy four years, in the hopes that he'll stop the current momentum, and during that time, I'm going to look for people to represent us, who will do the job as it was intended to be done.

But before we can fix the problem, we must identify and acknowledge the problem...
It's you, me, everyone on the board, and the rest of America. I bet more than 70% of the members here can name the whole cast of jersey shore, but can't name more than two supreme court justices.
The problem lies with us and our lack of personal responsibility and accountability.
