I thought it was kind of funny there was an article on, I think ABC, about the article, not the actual story. One of the women responsible for developing the part of that booklet came forward and said it was a mistake. I am not a birther, and have argued many times that he is in fact a US citizen no matter where he was born, but this does raise some interesting questions. Why was the mistake allowed to stand for 16 years without correction? It was only corrected once he started his run for President, so they had to know it was inaccurate when they wrote it? Why wasn't it brought out during the last race? As I've had to explain to my kid several times the way to make corrections for doing wrong is to go above and beyond expectations. If this is in fact incorrect information and as claimed an error, then Obama needs to go above and beyond, by releasing his physical birth certificate for inspection. One of the owners of that publishing house said all of the bios were reviewed by the authors who they were about, so either Obama lied back then or he's lying now. Unfortunately the only people who are going to grab this are the birthers and they've been marginalized due to some of their over the top claims.
