Has Obama made racism worse?

I found this to be an interesting discussion between Piers Morgan and Morgan Freeman. I've always had a deep respect for Freeman for both his work and his lifestyle. Seems Freeman sees the Tea Party movement as a group against blacks. I belong to the local Tea Party and no where in our creed is anything said about racism, it's strictly getting back to the Constitution and We The People. Take a look at the vid, a couple of minutes long. So whatcha think? Does Freeman have it right or is he just using the race card to support his candidate? Is Freeman possibly racist himself by making claims that the Tea Party is racist and using it to keep a black man in office?

Maybe someone who calls the Tea Party racist is covering up his own racist beliefs? There are racists everywhere, even in the Democratic party. I'm sure you can find one here or there in any party, movement, city, town, etc.

I'm getting sick of people like Freeman using race (among other things) to place themselves on a pedestal above others. Being an actor who feigns things doesn't make his/her opinion any more weighty than anyone else.

I would not say he is a racists, it is more so more of the Democrat party line being passed around.

Freeman has inductive reasoning at best ( it is really just his opinion, which some voters will put more weight to, due to seeing him on a screen ).

People that only like white people are racists.
Obama is not white.
Therefore people that do not like Obama are racists.

Freeman even admits that the Republican party did everything they could to try to make sure Clinton only served one term as well. No mention about how the Democratic party did this with GH Bush. The democratic party did not have race at that time, so they used age with GH Bush. He was out of touch with the voters in the country. Again it was not about qualifications to do the job.
Wow you mean people go into politics wanting to win ??

Sales has the same types, Some have a product that is inferior to the competition, and they only way they can make themselves look good, is by making the other guy look worse ( negative selling ).

The 2012 election is going to be a negative sell by the Democrats, I can only hope the Republican party stays out of this mud slinging, it is going to hurt them with the short term memory that most voters have these days, with the MSM pumping all sorts of sound bites at them.

Notice Freeman kept on the softball topic handed to him by Piers Morgan ?
Don't go off script and talk about qualifications to do the job, or the quality of the job done so far.
More of the MSM trying to distract the voter from the real topic at hand, who is best qualified to run the country.

Mr. Cain has it right, where Mr. Freeman has it wrong: http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/noe...a-party-racist

"So, name calling is something that’s going to continue in this because they (people like Freeman) don’t know how to stop this movement."

Wow I just listened to that clip, I never realized that Morgan Freeman was a natural blond. He couldn't even tie his thoughts together. The only thing he didn't do was twirl his hair in his finger around his ear. The term Valley Girl comes to mind, and we are supposed to accept him as some kind of a great thinker? It is too bad that many Americans will see this and think, right on man.

From what I saw he doesn't seem to be any sharper than Danny Glover. Both of them are good actors, except when they have to act like they know what they are talking about.

Yea right Morgan, I love the fact that Obama has sent this country into about a 10g nose dive, I only want him gone because he is black. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!

I wonder, has anybody ever heard of this dimwit addressing a White supremacy group or LULAC, or any other special interest racial group other than the Black Caucus? In this article fro Yahoo News, it certainly sounds like he's all for the conquer and divide scenario.

WASHINGTON (AP) — In a fiery summons to an important voting bloc, President Barack Obama told blacks on Saturday to quit crying and complaining and "put on your marching shoes" to follow him into battle for jobs and opportunity.
And though he didn't say it directly, for a second term, too.
Obama's speech to the annual awards dinner of the Congressional Black Caucus was his answer to increasingly vocal griping from black leaders that he's been giving away too much in talks with Republicans -- and not doing enough to fight black unemployment, which is nearly double the national average at 16.7 percent.
"It gets folks discouraged. I know. I listen to some of y'all," Obama told an audience of some 3,000 in a darkened Washington convention center.
But he said blacks need to have faith in the future -- and understand that the fight won't be won if they don't rally to his side.
"I need your help," Obama said.

In regards to the unemployment, we all know the numbers are so skewed by the Gov't that they'd be hard to believe. There are a lot of folks of all races that are unemployed that the morons in DC don't even account for, like those that are under employed, quit looking for work, etc. So the numbers are not going to be correct but most claim unemployment is over 20% and if the blacks rate at 16.7%, sounds like they're already on the gravy train with unemployment for blacks lower than the rest of the nation.

I agree with ya Frank, I think Herman Cain is dead on with a lot things. I didn't see him as a viable candidate but he's making friends in all the right places. I like the guy and would like to see him on a ticket either as President(wouldn't that **** off Yomma) or as VP.

I think so... Everyday all I hear is "Your President".... Hell I ain't vote for him but the assumption is because i'm black I automatically voted for him, "Uh NO".... I'm in the middle class group and nothing he stand for benefited me or my family... We work for a living.. We have college degrees and did not come from broken homes..

That speech was ridiculous... "Black people join me and fight".... WTF?? I'm sure the working class black people was saying the same thing. Why say join me in the fight for jobs... How about pull your pants up, stop acting like a dumb-*** and go and get a job...

All Americans need jobs and to separate the ethnic group like that was out of line big time.. That was not at all a respectable move... For the rest of us that are educated and fit into society with other Americans it's a slap in the face.. Really wish he'd stop using the race card.. We ain't even buddies or live in the same state and his ***** is affecting me big time...
