She was treated pretty decent until Obama appeared out of nowhere, then the media picked their horse and rode it to victory.

I lol at this attack, as it usually comes from people who think of FDR as a great president.

JFK was another president who suffered far more serious physical ailments than migraines, and he was lauded as a hero for doing it.

At least spell her name correctly. Bachmann is correct. Obama is the commander in chief and has been for the last 30 months. His profligate spending is draining any chance of an economic recovery. It's pure, unadulterated economics. At some point the liberals will have to take ownership. Then again, maybe not.

And if you think the economy is in bad shape now, wait until Obamacare is fully implemented in February 2014.

Very good points Dave. FDR's "make work" policies actually lengthened the Great Depression.

But will you admit cuts in the budget were necessary but will cost more jobs? The language republicans use on capitol hill make it seem like they believe that cutting makes jobs appear. It doesn't. Its contractionary fiscal policy that were putting in place.

Oh, but cutting government spending ALWAYS grows more jobs. Gov't can't do things as well as the private sector. Never have, never will.

Every "stimulus" job cost the American taxpayer over $278,000. Not to mention the unmentioned factor of government borrowing crowding out loans that could be made to private sector employers to expand.

I think what is "extreme" is insulting someone because of health problem. I noticed in your other post you called her views "extreme".

I gotta ask, what views of hers are "extreme" to you?

well with all of the uncertainty the president and the house and senate are making it sure makes it hard for businesses to hire! Cutting doesn't equal a jump in employment, its contractionary fiscal policy thats used to SLOW the economy, not create jobs! My beef with republicans is on that front, its not going to creat jobs yet they make it sound like it will

Your "beef" isn't with Republicans, it's with economics.

lets see, contractionary fiscal policy, its when the government cuts and we raise taxes.

expansionary fiscal policy is when we spend money and when taxes are cut.

Cutting spending isnt expansionary

cutting spending means government jobs are lost, while I agree with you the private sector is better then the government, a job lost is a job lost, and its not good either way

WOW! Please tell me there is some hope for the future.

2 or 3 people doing the same job that only requires 1 person to do is not a good return on my tax dollars. And then pay them a King's ransom for retirement, just for the sake of a statistic as in "jobs created or saved". NO THANKS!!!!!!!!!

Cutting taxes on the rich to produce jobs is Voodoo Economics. Obama hasn’t raised taxes so where are the jobs?
