Most Transparent Administration Ever

http://nation.foxnews.com/botched-gu...-whistleblower

I'm thinking Mr. Cefalu has a lawsuit under the Whistleblower Protection Act.

What actually was happening was that the Dumbocrats and the do-gooders who want firearms out of the hands of the population for much much better control, failed and were exposed by this dude. It brought an end to the bill Dumama was trying to impose on border states with Mexico to stop you from buying more than one gun a month. The objective there was to stop gunshows and the sale of unregistered firearms. Next was the prohibition of selling any firearms by you or anyone that did not have an FFL. If you wanted to sell yer gun, you would have to take it to a gunshop who would then register the gun with the Feds so they could track it and find it later at their discretion. The Feds would also have the option to confiscate the weapon if it didn't meet their criteria for what a good citizen should have. Yeah, it would have been a pretty slick thing to get into place but this dude screwed them royally. He deserves a metal.

Operation Gunrunner, Fast and Furious, either way what I find interesting is if you remember back a couple years the Obama administration as well as the Mexican administration were complaining that many of the guns used in the Mexican drug wars were from the US. This led to calls for gun restrictions on the US side by our administration. Then come to find out the claims were correct, because the administration was selling the guns to the bad guys. It doesn't matter how many restrictions are put into place if the administration is selling the guns to the bad guys only one inevitable result will come. Restricting sales to everyone and confiscating privately owned firearms.

I agree the ultimate goal was to cause a media uproar and take privately owned firearms out of the hands of law abiding US citizens and severely restrict firearms sales to those citizens.
