I recently removed the tailgate plastic cover and handle/pole from my 2010 F-150 that came with the step and handle. Giving away the plastic cover, all screws and handle/pole that I removed. Giving away (was trying to sell for $50, then tried at $25) plus shipping (plastic cover is large and the handle assembly is heavy). I can take pics and send if desired. PM me.

I don't. I'm assuming you'd need some good support under the mounting bolts.

 

it wont bolt up. different bolt pattern on gate.
