I have a 2009 backup camera and emblem that I'm not going to use. I've cut off the factory connector and installed a 4-pin weatherpack connector. I'm also including the mating weatherpack connector, 4 unused pins and 4 boots. I'll include a pinout as well. $90 shipped in the CONUS

I also have a 3.5" Audiovox monitor that fits neatly in the overhead sunglass holder on the 09 XLT. I'll throw this in for another $50 shipped with the above or sell separate for $60 shipped in the CONUS.

Neither has been installed, but I have bench tested everything.

Why didn't you install it? I have seen where '04-'08 guys have bought them and said to install them but at a first look the non-'09 tailgates have a brace right in the middle, not sure how it will work.

 

Time. Well actually I've had time but haven't been able to do anything with it the last month or so due to having some "minor" surgery, then having it again due to complications. Now I'm about to start a major project at home and won't get much free time for anything else until winter. In the mean time, I've actually towed our camper enough with the new truck now that I can pretty much back right up to the trailer so I decided I'd be better off investing my time on other things.

Is the camera actually inside the Ford oval like they have on the new Platinums? If it will work with my nav system on my 06 FX4 i will buy it! I have been reading threads about how to install it on a 04-08 but have not had any luck.
