Yes do that, or with a hair dryer. Fishing line has never worked for me on customers vehicles, so I usually just wrap a long, thin flat head screwdriver with a rag and carefully get under an edge far enough that I can pry on it with my hands.

Received my ptm emblem and installed it, looks Greattt!!
I owned my truck for about 7 years now and over that time, I am on my 3rd ptm front emblem(previous ones faded, done by different people) but this one here done by Brent(Lifted5.4Lariat) is by far the best I have ever seen! Quality work, responds quick to emails and provides tracking # when shipped.

**I chose not to go with an "exact" color match because I felt it wouldn't stand out as much .All my emblems/badges have white in it.**

January 23, 2014 - Price for a black emblem will be $55 and that includes chroming the Ford letters. Chroming of one or both rings is done upon request, free of charge. The emblem will arrive ready to install as if you bought it strait from Ford.

June 16, 2014 - I e-mail Brent this morning, I told him I wanted to buy 2 Black 9" Emblems with Chrome Letters, and both Rings Chrome. The Emblems are for a 2007 F-150, one for the Grille, and one for the Tailgate. I received the following response.

According to Brent's website, all 9" Emblems are now $79.00! It's the same price if you want to leave the accents chrome, or have them painted.
The current prices have increased considerably since the prices were posted on this forum less than 5 months ago, on January 23, 2014.
