I have had these for a couple of years. originally they were coated in black clear, a heavy tint job. I liked it but it wasn't legal so I had to take the paint off by wet sanding and polishing them. They look great considering and function perfectly. I love them but am putting the Harley tails back on.

Sorry for off topic but what did you use for polishing these lights?

 

After steps of wet sanding I used my PC7424xp and various Uber pads and Megs polishes. Finished with Mother's headlight resto polish.

 

Oh interesting. You just made it look like it was never blacked out before, which is impressive.

 

Here's what they used to look like. Illegal as heck and I don't need that kind of attention anymore. I thought they looked great but I decided to go through the process of removal.
