whats the XL at the end stand for? never seen that on a tire.

XL means Extra Load range which indicates the tire has a higher Load Index and Maximum Inflation Pressure (usually 51 psi instead of 44 psi) than a Standard Load range tire of the same size. Maximum load is greater and is achieved at a higher inflation pressure (42 psi instead of 36 psi) than a Standard Load range tire of the same size.
