I went from 255-70-18 to 285-45-22 and ran 35 PSI in my 18" tires and run 40-45 PSI in my 22" tires when towing, the sensors only alert if the pressure falls below the prescribed setting which I believe is 35 PSI I don't think you can over inflate and cause a problem, as for the default message your getting there could be something wrong with one of the sensors inside the tire which this will not fix.
As for speedo calibrations this is not the answer you need a tuner of some sort to modify tire sizes, SCT, Edge or something like that. All this does is reset the light or message center when you have either switched wheels, which I did from summer to winter wheels, replace with new tires, or you actually have a low tire and the light comes on, just adding air back in the tire wont reset the dash light.
Hope this helps you guys out, unfortunately it doesn't look like it will help me sell this with your issues.

I own this tool and its a helpful tool especially if you own a 2007 n up truck and your going to be purchasing some new wheels or switching back n forth b/t your OEM's for the winter. The tool is not only for our trucks but will work with other Ford vehicles as well. If you guys are going to be buying new wheels with new sensors and bands for the TPMS then you need this
What year is your truck? and when you upgraded did you add new tire sensors?

im not for sure. we bought the truck with 20s and 285s and the warning was already on from the previous owner. we just purchased new tires that are not in yet. there the exact same. will need new tpm's on each wheel or will this tool reset your computer to think its suppose to have the extra pressure?
hey ridinonmoto I would buy the reset tool and see if it resets the light, if not then you will need TPMS which I have 4 tpms no bands though but you can get it for around 50 shipped, and I can sell you my TPMS for 55 shipped for all four. Cause if you go and install your tires and find out your wheels dont have TPMS then you have to pay to reinstall again. No reason to pay for double work, like I said I would buy the reset tool and go from there. Cheap insurance IMO.
