Buy it NOLAGT you know you want it. I have the Whipple install manual that covers 04-06 and the only difference is the vac hose hookups at the brake booster and you will need a fuel pressure sensor relocation block for the 05 and 06 that doesn't come in the kit for the 04. The vac hose on my 04 actually is hooked up like the 05-06 for a vac. source for the 4 wheel drive. Just trying to help out.

I'm almost debating doing this before a manual conversion, uggggg choices.

Also not sure about it being an 04, Im reading all sorts of goofy stuff about the kit not being compatible with the 05+?

Like the injectors and TB are different from the 04 to the 05+?

Like this thread?

Here is a photo I found of the relocation bracket deal on a 07 5.4L F150. I wonder if you can buy these separate, doesn't look like something I can just make in my garage, but might be worth trying, considering the price of the kit new versus this one?

Sensor without bracket.

Thanks,

Josh

The kit will fit all years. Best thing to do is call Whipple(559-442-1261), I've talked to them several times. I was going to send this kit back and have it reconfigured to go on my lightning. They would reconfigure it for around $2,000, but I'm going to sell it and get a 3.4L.

Fuel rails are different on 04's untill a certain month (don't remember what the cut-off month was), because Ford had a lot leftover rails from previous years. Nitrous Xpress sells 2 differ fuel rail adaptors for the new body 04's because of this. The differences are minor and easily adaptable. And according to Abny at NX, the ealier rails flow better and support more power. I used to run a 200hp NX kit on my 04 and sprayed it almost every day before the Whipple

Sweet son-of-a-bitch, this is still for sale? God damn it. I'm trying to buy a house, it is Christmas time, and I have this thing staring me in the face.
Can you PM me to see if there is anything we might be able to work out?
I have a supercharger on my 05 Mustang GT and love it so this would be sexy to S/C my truck too.

Is it a dumb question to ask if this could be made to fit an 09 with the 5.4L? If so, I am very interested.
