SPAL Transmission Cooler Fans and Relay

2 SPAL 5.2 Paddle Fans - 150 CFM each
1 30 amp relay, socket, and wiring

These fans are normally used for motorcycle radiator cooling fans but I made them work on my factory transmission oil cooler. You must have the long transmission cooler that comes with the tow package in order to fit both fans. They are held on by plastic push pins that go through the cooler core. They are light enough so as to not damage the cooler from the weight. The fans are mounted on the back of the cooler and the fan's polarity is reversed so the fan blades turn the right direction (they are pusher fans normally).

You will need to by a temperature sensor to activate the relay. I used a SPAL 185 degree sensor and mounted it in the transmission test port. Unfortunately, I forgot to remove the sensor before the truck was sold.

The price is $75 for both fans and the relay plus $10 shipping. PM me for details. Thanks.
