Any idea how many miles a blower like that could last? I've been thinking of buying it since I first saw this thread but I drive a good 15-20k miles a year and don't want to have to replace or rebuild it in a couple years. Thinking it'd be a better option for me to just wait and stroke/build my motor when I hit like 150k.

I have heard of people putting 100k on them before a rebuild. The key to it is not to over spin it. Which on 12lbs on these trucks at the RPM they turn the blower is just right at being overspun, but still safe.

They usually don't last on mustangs because guys will over spin them. Then after 20-30k miles they need to be rebuilt.

A mounting plate, and a coupler with a few other minor mods I'm sure it would work.

Vortech blowers are pretty much a universal kit, just a few parts between each kit to make it work.

Well, if I had the money I'd buy it from you....but I still got them kids to take care of. The truck looks amazing by the way and only 30K on the odometer after all these years...that's amazing.

I sold mine back in 2007...actually it was sold in Dallas. My brother got some 13's out of it before he sold it for me. Anyway, I have a 2005 Black/Black Lariat Extended Cab with all the bells and whistles now. Not sure what engine mods I'm going with...may just blow it with a ProCharger or Roush and a 2 under pulley with a custom tune.

I'll keep in touch...I've been MIA for about 3 years. Late !!

Post up pics, and give me more of a description on what you mean by "top end rebuilt"
