Superchips Micro Max tuner, model #1745 **SPF**
It is a Superchips Micro Max tunner, model # 1745, 2005 F150 with 5.4
It does have three levels of tunning:
- 87 octane: this is esentially a transmission tunning level, very good trans reprogramming, slight spark advance cure, allows for changing of tire size, shift points, pressures, speed limiter change, limited to 4K tow capacity....
- Tow: 91 octane or higher, same as above, trans programming better for towing, no tow limits, very good....
- Performance: 4K tow limit, all above, greater spark curve, great trans programming.....
I ran the 87 mostly and was very happy with it.
I bought an Edge to get the display function as I am towing trailers more these days.
It was $229 new, just looking to recoup a few dollars out of it.
Vehicle HAS been returned to stock, unit is unlocked.
Misplaced the owner's manual, but I have a copy I printed on-line.
