Selling a dual speed Mark VIII electric fan. Went back to stock since the controller stopped working (with the temp sensor plugged in, it would always be on 100% speed.)

If you want the DC Controller, you can have it. I wonder if getting a new temp sensor would fix it. The three power posts (where the power to and from the controller are hooked up) are somewhat rusty (guess they don't like water.) If you hook up a switch to the A/C wire (like I did to get me by), you can use it as a manual switch for the fan.

If you want pictures, I can take some.

50-60 dollars seem to be the going rate on Ebay for one, so I'll let it go for $50 for a local pickup, or $50 plus shipping if you want it shipped (seems 17 dollars is the going rate on Ebay, though I can find out an exact number if you guys want.)

You guys are getting bent over a $50 fan? Good grief - I haven't bought it yet. It's only an offer. And the general process is - first come, first served.

Finding it does not mean you automaticaly have a lock on it.... had I been on here then this would have been gone ...

Anywho - it' up to the seller, not us. And I assure you I will not be upset whichever way this pans out....

I'll even offer to fix the controller and send it back to you if you get the deal.

First one would be BLFX4K, since he messaged at 4 AM. Then I received a PM from gordo1682 at 7 this morning. Then MGDfan PMed me at 12:55pm. So, it will go in that order.

Now, if BLFX4K doesn't care for the controller (which I still trying to find) I can just sell him the fan, and send the controller to MGDfan (just pay shipping). If he can fix it, he'll get a cheap DC Controller, and BLFX4K will get his fan. Sorry about the pictures, I'll get them up as soon as I find the controller (I hope I didn't throw it away:o). Might even get a vid of the fan.
