'03 and down spare cable/winch ('04 Heritage)
So I wasn't privy to the mess that is the '04 Heritage model until a friend recently clued me in and I had an aha! moment. So that's why the spare winch/cable didn’t work!
I have one, brand new in the box from a Ford dealership. Paid 100 plus shipping, selling for $80/shipping. I guess these are notorious for breaking -- the new ones come with a spring on the tire end so there isn’t so much yank on the cable.
