I ran it for a few months with the FMU before getting a tune, and had no issues. The original intake is no longer used, all you will need from your intake is the air temp sensor. I made great power with this kit, 370hp and 420tq a few weeks ago with water meth

You mean the original (air intake) not the original intake manifold,,correct?

Could I adapt it to my car 4.6?

Let me clarify, that is the (air intake) sensor, you retain the factory manafold. Sorry about the confusion. I have loved the kit but have decided to change directions with the truck. I am going to go 5.4 4v with a turbo for the next combo.
I thought about changing pullies but decided I would not get the end result that I am after. I am not positive but about what else it will fit, I would call vortech to make sure.

Lightbulb

ok just got off the phone and they said that it willl not fit a 4.6 due to the FMU, mounting plate and pullies are different between the 4.6 and 5.4 models (except for the blower head unit), that's odd 'cause ATI procharger uses everything the same except for the belt and crank pulley

Make me an offer guys. This would be a great way for someone to get boosted for way less than the cost of a new kit.
