tools for off-road trips
tools for off-road trips
I want to carry a set of tools for off-road trips in the Mojave Desert and Mexico. It looks like most things are metric. Should I carry only metric tools or is there a mix on this vehicle?
Also, anything else unique to the F-150 I should carry for emergency repairs?
thanks for comments.

Take along a bumper jack, and about 5 barrels of gas, and alot of water. And a camera just in case you see some UFO's or something. That would be cool. A can of fix-a-flat would'nt hurt either. I would hate to be stranded out in the desert with a flat tire. If ya know what I mean. Uh, take a few bags of beef jerky and don't eat to much at once. It's gotta last ya the whole trip. Oh, don't forget the beer. And take a shotgun. There's no tellin' what you might run across in the desert. Take a few white towels to put over your head to keep from getting sunburned. And drench them in a little water to keep you cool. Don't forget a few Tylenol for headaches. And last but not least, don't go alone. PS, I've never been to the desert but it has been a lifelong dream of mine to go to the Mohave' and stay about a month out there just for the hell of it. Have a nice trip.
