Anyone done this to a handgun? My GF is hellbent on a Glock 19 in 'Tiffany Blue'

Considering that I can get a G19, Gen 3, for sub-$500, $150 (with shipping) seems a tad harsh...
Thoughts?

Why do I feel " That way madness lies... "
I can see the GF then needing another one in that Raspberry Pink to coordinate with different footware or a purse, and so on. You might need to surrender a closet just for her collection of colored guns, and be buying a new protection "wardrobe" every time fashion changes
I also see resale being limited. Whats wrong with just gun metal or brushed ? They're classic and go with everything.
I can understand camo coatings, but where are Tiffany Blue and Raspberry Pink going to blend in, and how will the user not stand out unless likewise dressed ? Guess it would make them easy to find if you dropped them while out in the woods.
Sorry, not real helpful and bit tongue in cheek
So, what is the coating ? Some kind of powder coating treatment ? I had a quick look but couldn't see anything about the paint or process. Just curious and I wonder about the durability.

LMAO!
I don't know... if I can get her through her CCDW by getting this particular Glock, I'm okay springing for it. Apparently this is a very POPULAR color combo (who the hell would have known?)
Here's a snipit about the coating:
They can do damn near any color combo... I mean, if we're ever ambushed at a paint pigment factory that happens to be running a weird teal-blue color that day and it spills everywhere as the ninjas and Taliban all come running at us... well, I think we'll definitely be able to camo in the weapon. *eye roll*
She wants to carry thus, this is a compromise to get her to carry a full size rather than a little revolver.

X-Werks provides both baked and air cured coatings. We can recommend the right coating for your application. Call, email or stop by for prices!

If the GF is looking for extra rounds in the magazine for a gun battle, you need to forget the Glock and figure out what kind of long gun she likes...and BTW, a Glock G19 is a compact model, not a full size. The full size is a G17.
As for matching accessories, personally I prefer a neutral pattern such as zebra stripes; however, a "Tiffany Blue" and pink are just as lethal as "gun barrel blue"
