Git Yourself a DeLorme Atlas

Just got back from a trip to NE New Mexico and Colorado. Had on board DeLorme Atlas' for both states. These atlas' show ALL roads. Any road marked FSR is a Forest Service Road. They are shown in RED. The DeLorme Gazeteer Atlas made the trip FUN EXCITING AND at times my stomach QUEESY! (are those little sticks down there 70' Aspen trees?) We were able to camp for free in breathtaking alpine beauty four days in a row at four different sites around S Central and W Central Co. Not a soul for miles! That is until I looked in the mirror and saw this nut right on my bumper on FSR400 E of Basalt Co. in the rain. Pulled over, let him pass in his 89 F250 SC 4x4 pulling a popup camper. Down at the botom his wife was doubled over in the cab white as a ghost. Im sure he got an earful!

A DeLorme Atlas is a must!!! I grew up in Maine (home of DeLorme) and used the Atlas for Maine ALOT. It comes in especially handy when hunting/fishing, and just roaming the backroads. I have found some totally cool places thanks to them!!!!
