Im curious also to what lift and springs set up your running, trying to plan out for myself because Id like to get a bit of flex but don't want to sacrifice roadability, probably going to start off with a rcx lift tho

Lets see em
What I'm about to say will either cost you a lot of money or save you a few bucks.

A typical bolt on suspension lift won't give you any additional flex. The flex in the front is limited to the range of motion of the upper and lower control arms. Even the fancy coil over kits that are so popular don't do anything to provide any significant additional travel.

You might see an improvement of 5% in RTI score, which stand for Ramp Travel Index. Even then, I argue that a good chunk of that 5% comes from flex in the bigger tires, not the suspension.

Don't get me wrong, a suspension lift has its advantages over, say a body lift in some cases. And people here tell me that suspension lifts are cooler, and that may be true. And while we are all entitled to our opinion, there is only one set of facts, and those facts are that a typical suspension lift won't give you any more flex.

Now the operative word is typical, and I told you that your desire for more flex could cost you a lot of money. If you have $10-$12 grand available, we can talk about long travel kits that will give you the kind of improvement that you are talking about.

Like I said I don't need any substantial flex I'm in the mud not on the rocks just wanted to see what some trucks were capable of ... Although I have considered the solid axle swap
