35s No Lift

Needed tires and had these laying around. Figured I'd see if they fit. MINOR rubbing on the inner plastic at full lock.

I've haven't wheeled in over a year and I'm itching for it again. Had to sell my 85 Toyota on 1 tons and 38.5s. Plans are 3" leveling spacer, full belly skid, lockright rear, 4.56s, bumpers, and sliders.

Old rig.

So you could technically run 35's on a 2wd with a level and BL?

i've seen a couple 2wds on 35's (315/70/17) with stock wheels. one with a leveling kit and 1 without. neither look like the rubbed, didn't see any rub marks. i didn't drive them so i can't give you a 100% answer tho. both were running bfg at's IIRC so they do have a narrower tread than most 12.5" wide tires.

but yes, level and bl you would be fine. wheel selection would still play into it as well.

That was a pretty sweet pink toy. If you wheel don't do the 3" leveling kit cause you will wreck your cvs...

2wd only need a level to fit that size tire. i have no rub at all. you dont really need the bl but will look extra cool with.

mud terrains might rub with the bigger lugs. and yea with the sock wheels. aftermarket rims with different backspacing will affect the rubbing and that would need a bl to fix.
