2wd 97 f150

Im wondering, how well will a completly stock expect for 265/16/70 H/T tires 2wd 4.6 f150 handle in light off-roading. Im talking about dirt paths or some muddy dirt (nothing deep).

nah i got what you have except with lift and 265 A/Ts i can go through some pretty deep mud as long as you stay on the gas and work the wheel you'll be fine in light mud. Don't gun it through ruts and you won't break stuff, just ease into the rut and get on the gas alittle. I'm pretty sure like me you got 3.55 non-ls so the 2wd won't get you far

Nope. Leveling kit wont hurt at all...just make your truck level. If you crank your T bars all the way, your ride might be a bit more rough depending on how all of you suspension linkage is. I wouldt worry about i tho.

I do the same type of off roading your talking about all the time. I do have a 4x4 but I very rarely engage it. Our model trucks were built pretty damn well if you ask me.

He's 2wd no T-bars. and no a leveling kit won't hurt just don't go over 2" or you'll max out your upper A arms. I suggest either a daystar 1-1/2" coil spacer or rough country 2" lift coils. and make sure to get your truck aligned after you level it so your tires don't wear unevenly like mine did
