off road?

Hey guys, I just got my 2006 stx 4x4 regular cab with a 4.6L v8 about a month ago. I was just wondering how well this truck does off road and in the mud before i go and try to do more than it can handle? (it has stock suspension and tires 255/75/r17s. a/t)

well with stock tires would say dont expect much out of it in the mud. if you do go offroad, just make sure you have a buddy that can pull you out if you get stuck. and remember, getting stuck is the fun part.

A lot depends on driver skill. I've seen someone get stuck then a friend jump in and go through the ruts all the way through the mud hole. If you know what you're doing you can actually get through some tough stuff.

^ like they said, your drivin and the tires on the truck make a huge differnce. you gotta start easy and learn what you and your truck can handle
