its people like you that have no rules that get stuff closed down for the offroaders.

theres so many RULES that its not funny. But CODE already posted everything you should need to know so theres no reason in me saying it again.

If you really want to off road, go to Ocotillo or somewhere where there is someone doing something more stupid than you are so they get in trouble and not you.

And like 05fx4screw, never go alone.
Not entirely true, there are a good amount of off road trails in SoCal and the San Diego area, you just have to know where their are. I highly suggest getting with an offroad group in your area and/or getting some of the books from Alder Publishing, they are awesome.

The biggest rule I can think of is respect the environment and stay on the *******ing trail. Don't abuse things because all you are going to do is ******* it up for everyone else.

Busted by the word filter. Nah man just messing with you but I see you're a newbie and since you live near my area I'll give you a heads up. Use extreme caution when posting in here, there is a "language filter" in place which you can easily "circumvent" and that is where you'll immediately get banned if you "circumvent the language filter".

At any rate where abouts in Orange do yo live? I'm in Yorba Linda.

Edit: NVM I see now, you were specific, you live in Orange CA, thought you have stated you live in Orange County, CA. NVM my bad.

I actually put the stars in there myself, the system added more in there for me! . Since I'm new here I didn't want to ruffle feathers cussing about people ruining things for everyone else.

I'm in Orange. Just did a little run up Maple Canyon and Main Divide to Modjeska Peak this weekend to break in the new truck (same trip I did with my 2004 Taco when I first bought it).

Yeah I edited my previous post.

That's nice maybe some time in the near future we can roll together and ride some trails.

Sounds good. I'm pretty timid when it comes to offroading, I want to live and not get in a wreak with my daily driver. I just like exploring new areas and checking out the wilderness. Oh and I'm just running a stock truck, with no bells and whistles!

By the way you are right on your first statement. There are a lot of Off Road Areas here in SoCal and as you said you just have to know where they are.

Same here man, if I wanted to go all out I would get involve in off road competitions but I can't afford it. I do the trials for fun and like you enjoy the wilderness and refresh my mind before coming back to the real word.

Exactly! And I typically have the wife with me, she loves adventuring to. It's a win win.
