No prob man. I just didn't want to have numerous build thread goin, so I waited til it was done.
You doing anything to the 302 or keeping it stock for now?
What are you running for driveline, c6 and 205?

yeah im gonna run the C6 and NP205. I will have to do alittle work to the motor to make the swap easier.

The motor is a 1990 so its got the TBI and its really annoying and powerless. Im gonna make it a Carb'd motor. Immediate plans are RV cam, 600cfm carb, long tube headers. Im not familiar with everything i have to have to complete a TBI to carb swap but anything thats needed ill be replacing with something for more performance.

Intake, carb, gaskets, possibly new dizzy. Probably some more but it was over 5 years ago i did it. I had to change the oil sump, pan, and pump becasue mine came from a car.
It was pretty easy though.

Why not go bigger while you got the chance?

well i want to get the motor in and running. then i got a line on a 351w that needs to be rebuilt. So ill drive it with the 302 until the 251w is built then swap them. both motors will be carbed so it should be very very simple to take the 302 out and stick in the 351w. both use the same transmission bell housings. I want to build the absolute **** out of the 351w, it will take me about a year to build the 351w, and i dont want the truck to sit for another year. The 302 is free so it works.
