Post Pulling Problem

Went offroading and this chick got her Jeep sunk half way in a lake. The way the lake was shaped (It was a cherokee by the way, not a wrangler) I had to pull her out sideways and turn her around using our towing packages. It was one hell of a pull. My engine started to smell and some smoke was commin out of my duals. Is this because it was blowing crud out of the engine? Please tell me it was.

Shouldn't have caused any trouble -- probably just heated the crud out.

I sure hope they're strong enough for That kind of work, else what's the point?!?

It's probably the first time you asked your engine to really Work for it's diet.
