Hampton Roads Area

Hey, I'm just stopping by to see if there is anyone in the Hampton Roads/VA Beach area who knows of any off road areas/events. Let me know.

Not an off road event per say but every Good Friday in April their are 2 big mud bogs. One is in Charles City off of rt. 60 and then one way north of Richmond in King William county. Then at the end of April there is Bodacious and that is a big event with sand drags, mud bog and some other events.

Also Virginia Motor Speedway also has a couple Mud Bogs during the year.

There are quite a few around Virginia Beach but none of them are entirely legal.

There's a mud field out by the airport, I don't know how to explain how to get there as I've only been with buddies. There is a small trail off london bridge road. There is a field and some trails off oceane blvd (don't go mudding anywhere on the base, they're known for putting nails and stuff in the mud holes). There are also some sand fields off of Shore Dr.

They're not too bad. Worst I've seen is my buddies tacoma with 6 inches of lift on 33s get stuck up to his doors.
