Anyone in the tampa area up for off roading? I want to check out rancho or some other tampa mud hole.

 

well Me, Dirtbound, and Minimonster are all pretty local. Im the only one in Tampa. Theres a few mudholes around.

1. 301 Mud Bog
2. Lakeland mud Bog
3. Rancho
4. Bubbas mud ranch

theres a few more places but they are further away.

Well get your truck fixed and lets put something togther. My truck needs to get dirty! Are you going to make it a SA? And have you tried to take out the tortion bars and keys and reistall them? Or is it FUBAR? which isnt really a bad thing if your going with a straight axle.

 

haha nope i havent touched anything at all, i just go under there and looked. The truck will be under going its SAS in probably 2 weeks, 2.5 MAX. Then 3 days later ill have it back and on the road... cant wait. Things gonna be a beast.

 

i'm up for some offroading, hopefully in the next week or so. i still gotta extend my driveshaft first.

 

After my truck is done ill be having mud withdraws. I probably will take it easy for a few weeks just to make sure everything is in order. But ill go out there and have alittle fun.

BTW I love the 301 mudhole, its a great little place

hey im goin out to muddi gras....its the 6th 7th and 8th of this month its 30 for one day or 40 for the whole weekend...and right now im in the process of buyin a jeep or small truck for a couple of hundred dollars, just gotta find it...and im gonna beat it up out at muddi gras....but not to bad because after that its going to become a budget build lol

 

and ohh ya we have also been going out to rancho alot lately...and its dry as a bone out there....there are a few holes but theres really no water lol

 

haha my budget build has gone from about 2k in parts, now its looking like 6k in parts which still isn't everything i want done

 

well i figure a jeep cherokee with the straight 6 h.o motor you can find one for 500 lol that still run then buy a set of tires for 400, and i can get a custom lift 4 1000 so theres 1900 and make a snorkel outta pvc, and thats really all i need to do so for 3k i can build a pretty nasty jeep

this is after mudi mudi christmas we left it there thats how bad we destroyed it...he got stuck and instead of hooking up to the frame we thought it would bu funny to hook up to the a pillars....well i backed up to his bumper in 4 lo and with about 60 ft of strap i floored it well this is what happend

 

That jeep looks familiar... does he have efans and 4.10's in it? If you go with a cherokee i would put a roll cage in or around it seeing how the jeep went.

 

you may have seen it idk about efans or the gears i know we beat the hell out of it tho...but like i said i have the cash now all i have to to do is find the truck lol...and muddi graw is on
