Where's all the off roading pics??
Where's all the off roading pics??
I see everyone talking about their lifts and tires but it seems the "offroading" threads are small compared to all the others, So lets see some pics! Here's a couple of mine from a couple of weeks ago. I will never get my truck this muddy again in the winter!!

always forget the camera if i go out so don't have any good photos but heres a couple of a friends truck when we went out
coming down hill

stuck in creek right after hill

hill climb

after seeing what that kids stock yota would do i had to go out and buy me a yota
i could never take my $30,000 truck and get it that muddy, can't afford to fix it and can't afford to not have a daily driver to get places.

search for a thread entitled worst stucks. it has all sorts of pics of mud-stuck F-150's. and i agree, there's too many people on this site who lift their trucks, and bolt on mud terrain tires to look cool, and are posers who are afraid to get them dirty. flame suit on!

im not gonna lie about lifting mine for it to look cool, but my truck see's trail and occasional mud, its not like im afraid to get dirt on it like alot of people i know, i just can't afford to fix it, so i bought a second vehicle for this purposetrail riding IMO is much more fun than mudding to.
trail riding and snow are offroading too, but like i said, so many people are afraid to take their lifted 4WD truck out for fear of getting scratched by a branch, or having a piece of gravel kick up onto the fender flare and marring it. what gets me too is when people get upset about scratching a skid plate.
muddin' is just about having lift, and being able to throttle through. it is a lot of fun, though. i agree that trails are more challenging, and require more of one's attention span. i've started to take a chain saw to hack things out of the way.
my truck has acquired some battle scars, a section of the cab pillar near the bottom has had a scratch down to the primer, the gas tank skid plate has some deep scratches on it, and i messed up a rotor and brake caliper offroad once.
in my opinion, a person taking a stock truck offroad on 32's is using their truck in a more purposeful way then the guy who has 35's on 6'', and uses it as a mall crawler.
