Warn Hidden Winch Mount

Has anybody tried to use this mount with other brand winches? I am thinking of using this style mount on my 01 supercrew. There is a list of specific Warn winches however I have found one that has the same mounting bolt patter as well the same overall dimensions. The only difference is the height of the M8000 is 8.6 inches and the other is 7.6 inches.

Last time I looked the bolt patterns on the major brands were the same. I just checked the 4 major brands and 3 of them, Warn Mile marker Ramsey, had 10 x 4.5 inch bolt patterns. Superwinch had a 10 x 4.493. So you should be able to mount any brand winch. Just pay close attention to the distance between the mounting bolt and the electric motor. The Warn Semi-hidden mount will be a tight fit if you use a large motored winch. Warn's fitment recommends no bigger than the 9.5.

For the NBS trucks, the kit from Warn can only be used with a short drum winch that comes with the kit.
