i have 4.10's and a zf, i guess the bb makes up for it though.

my old half ton on 38's had 4.11's and that was plenty for me with a c6. i'd take lockers over low gears any day of the week. i don't use 4lo and i barely ever rev over 5krpm

I choose gears than a locker... If you cant get the tires to turn, you cant go anywhere.

i used to do burnouts with 40'' boggers without dumping the clutch, so i think i have the power to move my tires. 460's make killer torque from idle to about 3500. so less gear isn't as much of an issue. bogger burnouts are cool. looks like a dually with really skinny tires made em

I run 5.13's and would rather the gearing. Will be sitting on rocks soon enough.

Thats where the gears will come from...
Im thinking likely a 40" tire, for sure nothing bigger than 44".

unless that bbf in your plans will be built for rpm's, 4.88's with a c-6 and 40's would probably work reeeeeaaaaal niiiiiiiiiice

If ur buildin a bbf, might as well make it run up to 7,000 rpm.

Eh, i wont turn it that high maybe redline near there, but the point of the build is to not have to redline my truck to get some where....
