My advice (on top of everything else mentioned):

1). Start off slowly and don't get in over your head (drive within your ability, and the ability of the truck)

2). If you feel like you have to beat on your truck to achieve something, you are doing it wrong! Finness is your friend off road (and also reduces breaking things)

3). Ask questions, admitt mistakes and continue to learn.

should i be offened by that?...lol

an what Tornadom aswell as a bunch of others have said is all great advice!

well we when out to his parents place yesterday and had a blast all i can say is when can i go again!! It was a good time even did alittle quad ridding, but the best part was he got his dodge stuck and i had to pull him out lol. I will say this his tires where about bald and it wasn't that big of a deal just needed alittle pull and out he came. I can say this i made it trough everything in two wheel drive first with out getting stuck but 4 wheel drive is so much more fun lol. I did run it once in 4 low just to use it so its been ran a little. Now I have to get the dam thing clean that mud goes everywhere will get some before and after pics when i get time to post them lol But thanks all for the imput

To help clean the mud off...
Park your truck on the lawn and put a sprinkler under it. Hour later move the sprinkler a little bit, repeat. After a few hours use a pressure washer to get the rest. I learned to TRY and stay away from the mud. Yes it is fun, but the cleanup, ugh.

I dont know about anyone else, but me and friends have a saying for offroading......Its not fun until someone gets stuck. And with this meaning not stuck to the point where you damage the truck getting it out or you have to use 5 trucks to get it out, but just stuck enough to need a pull. Atleast thats us. Which isnt a problem with my 12k winch.

I upload the photos to photobucket.com and then copy the link into the Reply box. There are other ways to do it but i have never used any of the other ways. Glad you had fun and if you go again like one of the other guys was saying, make sure you see how deep the mud hole is before you go into it or you end up like this. It is also good to have a buddy with a winch.

bring a camera, I'd rather not read about this disaster. lol just giving you a hard time, but believe me you will want a camera to share the experience.
